Electrical
Power Rating
Specify the required power by calculating secondary voltage multiplied by current. ex. 10 kVA. QT&E supports power ranges from:
1 VA - 1 kVA
1 kVA - 150 kVA

Define the operating frequency of your system (e.g., 50 Hz, 60 Hz, or custom). ex. 60 Hz. QT&E supports frequencies from:
50 Hz or 60 Hz
Phases
Choose between single-phase or three-phase configurations to match your application requirements; QT&E designs for both types. ex. 3PH.
Single-phase
Three-phase
Inputs & Outputs
Indicate the number, voltage, and current ratings for primary and secondary windings; QT&E accommodates a wide range of configurations and load profiles. ex. Input: 480V, Output: 120/240V split-phase.
1 V up to 600 V (up to 150 kVA)
Isolation
Specify isolation requirements to ensure safety and signal integrity. ex. 4 kV isolation voltage. QT&E supports:
5 kV standard
5 kV up to 200 kV (custom)
Noise Attenuation (Common)
Reduces interference where identical noise appears on both lines relative to ground, typically using shields or balanced windings. ex. 30 dB common-mode noise attenuation at 1 kHz.
Noise Attenuation (Differential)
Minimizes noise that exists as a voltage difference between two lines, often achieved through precision filtering or core designs. ex. Example:20 dB differential-mode noise attenuation from 10 kHz to 100 kHz.
Impedance
State the desired impedance to control voltage regulation and fault currents; QT&E provides custom designs to meet specific impedance values. ex. 4% (typical range: 2% to 8%)
Noise suppression
Indicate the need for minimizing audible or electrical noise; QT&E incorporates low-noise laminations and shielding for sensitive environments. ex. 40 dB attenuation at 1 kHz
Electrostatic shielding
Specify electromagnetic or electrostatic shielding to prevent interference; QT&E offers designs with custom shielding options. ex. Faraday shield with 90% attenuation
Harmonic Mitigation
Specify harmonic reduction needs to improve power quality; QT&E provides designs with specialized cores and K-rated transformers. ex. Reduces THD to <5%
Ground loop elimination
State requirements for reducing ground loops in your system; QT&E designs with specialized grounding and isolation techniques. ex. Floating secondary with ground shield
Low Leakage Current
Define acceptable leakage current levels for safety or regulatory compliance; QT&E produces designs with minimized leakage current. ex. < 300 μA
Mechanical
Temperature Rise
Specify the allowable temperature rise above ambient for your application (measured in °C), typically based on insulation class or operational needs. ex. 80°C (standard for Class B).
Dimensions
Define the physical size constraints (height, width, depth) to fit your installation space. ex. H: 24 in, W: 18 in, D: 12 in

Indicate if seismic bracing is needed to meet building codes in earthquake-prone areas. ex. Designed for Zone 4 seismic compliance
Emergency Off and Safety
Define any emergency stop or safety requirements, such as accessible shutoff switches or interlocks. ex. Red emergency-off push button on front panel
Notifications
Define any notification features required, such as indicator lights, alarms, or digital displays for system status. ex. Green (Power On), Red (Fault) indicator lights with an audible alarm for overload
