Configurable Options in our Power Conditioners

Electrical

Power Rating

Specify the required power by calculating secondary voltage multiplied by current. ex. 10 kVA. QT&E supports power ranges from:

1 VA - 1 kVA
1 kVA - 500 kVA

Frequency

Define the operating frequency of your system (e.g., 50 Hz, 60 Hz, or custom). ex. 60 Hz. QT&E supports frequencies from:

50 Hz or 60 Hz

Phases

Choose between single-phase or three-phase configurations to match your application requirements; QT&E designs for both types. ex. 3PH.

Single-phase
Three-phase

Inputs & Outputs

Indicate the number, voltage, and current ratings for primary and secondary windings; QT&E accommodates a wide range of configurations and load profiles. ex. Input: 480V, Output: 120/240V split-phase.

1 V up to 600 V

Isolation

Specify isolation requirements to ensure safety and signal integrity. ex. 4 kV isolation voltage. QT&E supports:

5 kV standard
5 kV up to 200 kV (custom)

Impedance

State the desired impedance to control voltage regulation and fault currents; QT&E provides custom designs to meet specific impedance values. ex. 4% (typical range: 2% to 8%)

K-rating

Specify a K-factor to handle harmonic loads. ex. K-13 (designed for harmonic loads in data centers). QT&E supports:

K-1 (standard)
K-4, K-13, K-20 for data centers and other sensitive applications

Voltage Regulation

Indicate tolerance for voltage fluctuations; QT&E ensures precise regulation through advanced winding and core designs. ex. ±1% under varying loads

Current limiting

Specify the maximum allowable current to safeguard the power conditioner and connected equipment from overcurrent conditions. QT&E provides solutions with integrated current-limiting functionality. ex. Current limit: 150A peak with automatic recovery.

Power factor correcton

Define the power factor improvement needed to optimize energy efficiency and reduce reactive power in your system. QT&E offers power conditioners with built-in PFC capabilities. ex. Power factor: ≥ 0.98 for a 10 kW system.

Noise attenuation L-L

Specify the required attenuation for noise occurring between power lines to ensure clean power delivery. QT&E designs power conditioners with advanced filtering for line-to-line noise suppression. ex. 40 dB attenuation for 10 kHz to 1 MHz line-to-line noise.

Noise attenuation L-N

Define the attenuation level needed to mitigate noise between power lines and neutral, critical for maintaining power quality in sensitive applications. ex. 35 dB attenuation from 150 kHz to 500 kHz line-to-neutral noise.

Mechanical

Temperature Rise

Specify the allowable temperature rise above ambient for your application (measured in °C), typically based on insulation class or operational needs. ex. 80°C (standard for Class B).

Dimensions

Define the physical size constraints (height, width, depth) to fit your installation space. ex. H: 24 in, W: 18 in, D: 12 in

Enclosure

Indicate the required enclosure type based on environmental conditions, such as indoor, outdoor, or hazardous locations. ex. NEMA 1 (indoor use). Options include:

NEMA 1: Standard
NEMA 2
NEMA 3 + 3R: Protection from falling water.
NEMA 4 + 4X:
Water proof, fully enclosed.
NEMA 6

Circuit Protection

Specify integrated circuit protection needs, such as fuses or breakers, for overload and fault conditions. ex. Primary & Secondary circuit breakers. Options include:

Circuit breakers
Fuses

Programmable control

Specify programmable features such as voltage adjustments, fault monitoring, or automated responses to power quality issues. QT&E power conditioners provide customizable control options. ex. Programmable output voltage: 0-240V with real-time monitoring via Ethernet.

EMI/RFI protection

Indicate the level of electromagnetic and radio frequency interference suppression required to meet regulatory compliance and ensure compatibility with sensitive equipment. QT&E provides high-performance EMI/RFI filters within its power conditioners. ex. 50 dB EMI attenuation at 150 kHz to 1 MHz to meet CISPR Class A standards.
